since i could remember my mom has done my hair... cut color perm, damage.... wait... haha but really tho. my mom has always done my hair. :( the ol mama does a killer cut.. but color... not so much. i tried different colorest at various salons but i always felt like i never left happy. always felt the stylist never understood the idea i was trying to get across... and then ended up doing a quick fix or just whatever they wanted to do.. leaving me sad and unhappy. till one daaay i was refered y a friend to miss emily fett at the beauty room. she changed my world.
the first time i went to see emily i was nervous and excited. i was in desperate need of some help....i had tried to "fix" what my mom has started with a good old box color (never a good idea....EVER) and ended up with grey hair. not good.
not only did emily fix it but she perfected it. and then some.
emily is a "color expert" NO JOKE. i think she is telepathic because it was almost like she read my mind.
it was an easy fix for this pro. emily continues to save me a lot of time and stress, and mess.. i have rewened many bathrooms with hair die.
emily also does keretin hair treatments( protein treatment) i swear by. i have had 2 treatments and i feel like i have a new head of hair. i have yet to have a hair cut since my first treatment 5 months ago and i have minimal split ends. love that. because i dislike hair cuts.
bar none. emily is the bomb. you can tell she is passionate about what she does. im so anal with it comes to my hair and i have never been more happy since going to emily. and its not just me haha.. go figure. she has had clients following her for almost 10 years. woah girl.
The Beauty Room, on s. chicago ave is the salon you can find emily is ADORABLE! owner mi shaun schmidt schwab (who is also a stylist there) really put together a wonderful place. i cant say enough wonderful thing about it. cutting edge trendy stylists, classy, comfortable inviting, with acceptional service. check out the website for more services they offer too (aka lash tinting <3, facials, nails and fun jewelry shopping) :D! whoo whoo
